The East Coast 'A' Grade Sedan Club
was founded in 1996 with the purpose of making Speedway Racing enjoyable and
monetary accessible to the average person.
The club caters for all ranges of engine capacities from 4cyl and Rotaries to V8's up to 318 cubic inch, providing the engine is consistent to manufacturers' specification for that model car.
Many safety requirements are incorporated into the rules for this division including scatter shields for gearboxes and full head and hip plates, just to name a few.
Passengers are optional but they too must wear the minimum safety attire required.
A roof mounted wing, which is compulsory for all cars,
was originally what made this division unique. It serves as an advantage
on cornering as well as a great opportunity to advertise sponsors.
East Coast 'A' Grade Sedan Club is
a family orientated division and encourages all family members to be part of
the fun of Speedway Racing.
